How to re-enroll temporarily (for kiosk exams) if you unenrolled:

**NOTE: [fakemurk](https://github.com/MercuryWorkshop/fakemurk) is HIGHLY recommended**

- Do some unenrolling Chromebook exploit such as SH1MMER (duh)

- Turn on dev mode: (if you aren't already)
     - Hold Power Button + Refresh + ESC at the same time for at least 2 seconds.
     - Press CTRL + D at the same time, then press Enter.
     - It will take around six minutes to load into developer mode.
     - It will then give you a screen that says "You are in developer mode".
**do CTRL + D to get past this screen whenever you get it! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT KNOWLEDGE**
     - You are now in developer mode!

- Powerwash:
     - If you just turned on developer mode, your Chromebook should already be powerwashed.
     - If dev mode was already on, sign out if necessary and do CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + R.

- Once you've put in your Wi-Fi password and passed the "Determining device configuration" screen **after a powerwash**, there will be a button in the bottom left that says "Enterprise Enrollment"; click this button.
- It'll bring up a login page; sign in with your normal school account.

- **DO NOT CLOSE YOUR CHROMEBOOK until the next step and DO NOT SKIP the next step**
- **SERIOUSLY!**
- **DO NOT CLOSE YOUR CHROMEBOOK until the next step and DO NOT SKIP the next step**

- Safe re-unenrolling
     - Once you are on the normal district login screen, do CTRL + ALT + Forward Arrow (this is F2, or the key above numbers 2 and 3 on the keyboard).
     - You should now be in a super hacky-looking black screen asking for username and password.
     - Type "root" as the login and some red thing should show up ("test0000" is the password if it needs one).
     - Type in the following command and press enter:
     vpd -i RW_VPD -s check_enrollment=0
     - Now your device has been unenrolled again but you are still in the enrolled session.
     - Do CTRL + ALT + Backward Arrow (the one next to Forward Arrow, duh) to exit the hacky black screen.

- Take the kiosk test normally
- **Try not to close your Chromebook lid until you are ACTUALLY IN THE KIOSK APP**, if you shut down your Chromebook in any way before that it'll force you to powerwash/turn on developer mode again and will be majorly inconvenient.

- Once you are done with the kiosk test, reboot your computer with Power Button + Refresh, and follow the instructions to return to secure mode powerwash.
- Your device is unenrolled again and you have successfully taken a kiosk test!.
